"Sam" was the first born puppy to Sally.  The largest female of her litter, she is a real sweetie but is also a real hard driving retriever. Unfortunately, Sam injured her leg at 9 months old and will never be able to compete or hunt.  Even with the leg injury, whether it is a bird or a tennis ball, she is hard to beat on land or in the water.
